Coach Dwight Robinson is the only coach to have coached at Landstown High School. He has 23 years of experience and has comprised an overall record of 405-162. He was named the USA Today VA State Coach of the Year for the 2018-19 season, and the VHSL State Coach of the Year for the 2004-05, 2016-17, and 2018-19 seasons.

Coach Robinson has guided Landstown High School to three Coastal Conference Regular Season Championships (2013-14, 2014-15, 2016-17), four Coastal Conference Tournament Championships (2013-14, 2014-15, 2015-16, 2016-17), five Beach District Regular Season Championships (2004-05, 2008-09, 2009-10, 2011-12, 2012-13), and four Beach Tournament Championships (2008-09, 2009-10, 2011-12, 2012-13).

Landstown High School has qualified for the VHSL State Tournament 8 times in the schools 23 years of existence; including 6 Final Fours (2005, 2014, 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021). They have been in the VHSL 6A State title game three times (2005, 2014, and 2019). They have won four 6A Regional titles and have qualified for regional play 20 times. They have also won 14 district/conference championships.
